For older Pixma users be aware! I have it for 3 months now, and my hatred toward Pixma iP7250 model is rising very strongly with each use! Nice design, good quality, but terrible performance and high running costs. I really want to repair my Canon Pixma iP4500 and ask for another product in future, but not from Canon probably, if it will be in same way as is. You make worse in use device, more expensive to run, more sluggish? Sorry Canon, it's terrible decisions you have put in this model. And worse, I can't use older programs for new Pixma series anymore, you can't simply save and open your project! It's disgraceful. It's sluggish, works terrible, has to much automated process, many, many things you can't do anymore. And the programs.Jesus Christ, where is simple programs from Canon was for more than 10y? Absolutely inconvenient combined sluggish Canon Quick Menu, where you can't do simple printing and intuitive things you used to do! Why you just "discarded", very simple and easy to use programs? CD/DVD design program is a huge crap, compared to CD-Label print, EX Easy print is way more intuitive in use, than new all in one combined "thing" called Canon Quick Menu. It's slow, makes loud noises, much more expensive to run compared from it's predecessors.
Yes it has WiFi (at last! in standard), and absolutely new in and out design, but the real live performance is just. If You are new to this Canon series, You may not understand what is going about, but if You had older Pixma iP printer, you really must consider pros and cons, before buying this engineer "marvel" called Pixma iP. New models, has many nice changes, but performance in printing, is just awful, cost's of use are just terrible. In this new model (and many multifunctional models), Canon changed and redesigned all gears, and mechanisms, and it has many good things, but I want back my iP4500. 10 years I loved Pixma series, until now, with absolutely new model Canon Pixma iP7250.
